Exchanging truthful information is the first step towards cooperative effort. However, during conversations, thoughts, emotions and feelings appear. If we express them, sometimes they can create conflicts, become barriers to solve problems, or even offend the other person’s values.
At the same time, if we don’t express them, we can never face the real problem. Instead of spitting out or swallowing all our thoughts, we can process them and express them constructively to transform the situation into a learning opportunity.
This program provides participants with tools so that they can communicate in an effective way. Authentic communication is a way of presenting our point of view, by inquiring in a productive and conscious manner in order to understand others on a deep level. This is key to be more effective when carrying out tasks and relating with others.
This program is addressed to:
The program is for all individuals or teams in organizations that need to optimize their task efficiency through communication.
What we do
Through a practical and experiential approach, we help participants to:
- Interact and face tasks in a way that helps them satisfy their higher-order needs.
- Coordinate actions impeccably so that they obtain the expected results by making effective promises, offers and requests.
- Develop integrity in their commitments and exercise constructive apologies and claims.
How we do it
The program adapts to the operating reality and context of the client. Through experiences and real cases we optimize practices to work ad hoc.
Before the program kickoff, we request the client to hold at least 4 interviews to identify real cases which are relevant to the organization’s challenges, so that we can later work on them as examples.
- 1 group of up to 20 participants
- 8-hour workshop (1 work day)
“When you and I speak our minds, we may discover that our ideas are not so far apart. Or we may discover that we have a lot of disagreements. That’s one of the main reasons why many of us hide our truth.”
